The Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce (FCCC) has the pleasure to invite you to a webinar focused on "Grants and Opportunities in EU Circular Economy", which will take place online on 21 October 2025 at 10 am CEST.

Navigating the European Union's rapidly evolving circular economy regulations is no longer just about meeting requirements, but a strategic necessity for any business that imports or is doing business in the region. The old "take, make, dispose" model is being replaced by a regenerative system, which brings a whole new set of legal obligations. To avoid risks and find new market opportunities, it's critical to understand and adapt to this new framework.

During this webinar, we'll provide a clear breakdown of the key legal instruments shaping the EU's circular economy. The experts will share forward-looking, practical advice drawn from extensive experience with multinational corporations. They will deconstruct the core objectives, analyse key legal instruments, and explore practical case studies to illustrate compliance challenges and successful strategies.

Furthermore, the EU offers a wide range of grants and incentive schemes to support companies in advancing green technologies, sustainable business models, and low-carbon solutions. In this webinar, we will therefore also present key opportunities available to companies in Europe and Belgium, including Chinese companies investing in Europe. The session will highlight practical pathways to leverage EU sustainability-oriented programmes, such as Horizon Europe and the Innovation Fund, as well as Belgian tax incentives for green investment, such as the new thematic investment deduction. Thus, we will demonstrate how companies can unlock financial support while aligning with Europe’s strategic sustainability agenda.
