Webinar: "A New US President - What's in store for US policy and engagement with China? What does this mean for European Businesses?"

The EU-China Business Association and the Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce in partnership with The Conference Board are organizing a webinar on: 'A New US President – What's in store for US policy and engagement with China? What does this mean for European businesses?'

This webcast will outline the Biden policy agenda for China and identify the key areas of similarities and differences from the outgoing Trump administration.

They will drill down into key elements “the (new) China strategy” to illuminate what the Biden team is likely to prioritize, how China is likely to respond, and how foreseeable dynamics are likely to influence the trajectory of US-China relations and the geopolitical risk set for American and European multinational companies operating in China. This webcast will review the structural factors shaping US and EU relations with China and assess how evolving US-China and EU-China policies and approaches could impact the business environment for western MNCs in China, both in the near- and medium-term. Looking 2-3 years ahead, a base case scenario will be presented to inform member business planning and risk management functions.

Presented by David Hoffman, Senior Vice President Asia and Managing Director of the China Center for Economics & Business, The Conference Board.

Moderated by Gwenn Sonck, Executive Director, Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce.
