The Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce is organizing a webinar which will take place on Tuesday, 29 April at 9:00 AM CEST. During this webinar, Mr. Koen De Leus, Chief Economist – Economic Research at BNP Paribas Fortis, will speak about: “How Trump is Making Europe Great Again”.
Trump is single-handedly destroying the post-war liberal economic system. Even with import tariffs at just 10%, trade is regressing to 1930s levels, with China suffering even more. About the Speaker: Koen De Leus is Chief Economist at BNP Paribas Fortis and co-author of the timely book ‘The New World Economy in 5 Trends’. He is a respected voice in macroeconomic analysis, frequently speaking on international trade, geopolitical shifts, and the economic impact of policy changes. Prior to joining BNP Paribas Fortis, he was Senior Economist at KBC Asset Management. Koen is known for his clear insights into global economic trends and the challenges they pose for businesses.
