Updates on the compulsory quarantine arrangements and boarding requirements in Hong Kong

According to an email notice from Cathay Pacific to corporate customers and trade partners, the Hong Kong SAR Government has adjusted the entry requirements and quarantine arrangements for travelers entering Hong Kong.

Shortened compulsory quarantine period: 3-day designated hotel quarantine + 4-day self-monitoring

With immediate effect, inbound travelers are required to undergo a compulsory quarantine for three nights in designated quarantine hotels regardless of vaccination status. Taking a traveler’s day of arrival in HK as “Day 0”, if a traveller receives a negative PCR test result in the morning on Day 3, he/she will be allowed to leave the designated hotel and complete the remaining four days at home or non-designated hotels under “medical surveillance”, with limited movement to public premises. For more information on quarantine, testings required upon arrival and self-monitoring arrangements, please visit Hong Kong SAR Government’s website.
