The Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce and the Province of West Flanders organized the in-person event: “Navigating Business with a Changing China”, on the 30th of May 2024, in Bruges. This event was conducted in the Dutch language. Following words of welcome by Mr Carl Decaluwé, Governor of the Province of West Flanders, Ms Gwenn Sonck, Executive Director, Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce, introduced the event and the speakers.
Mr. Peter Buytaert, Co-founder & Exco Member Silk Road Partners, gave a presentation on “China's New Business Environment”, followed by a panel discussion with experience sharing. Members of the panel were Mr. Lieven Danneels, CEO, Televic; Mr. Stefan Top, Managing Director, AVR BV; and Mr. Stéphan Lesage, CEO, Extrashop. A Q&A session followed the panel discussion. Mr Carl Decaluwé, Governor of the Province of West Flanders, gave the concluding remarks, and invited the participants to a networking cocktail hosted by the Province of West Flanders.
