Present your products to purchasers from Shanghai and Beijing and participate in the Hybrid Food Fair organized by the offices of Flanders Investment & Trade in Shanghai (October 16) and Beijing (October 21). Contrary to previous editions, you can be present yourself. Target sector: food & beverage. Target market: China. For whom? companies and organizations based in the Flanders region. Where? Why participate? Many buyers and importers in the food sector are looking for new suppliers and new products and trends in the sector. Are you interested to present your products in an easy-going way in new markets? Flanders Investment & Trade is happy to match the requirements of purchasers with your export plans and is therefore organizing a hybrid meeting day in Shanghai on 16/10 and in Beijing on 21/10!
Our offer: Both FIT offices have plenty of contacts in the food sector with importers and distributors, e-commerce players and supermarket chains. We will invite the buyers to a mini-food-fair where they can discover and taste the products of Flemish companies. Following the mini-food-fair, we bring the Chinese buyers into contact with the Flemish companies in which they are interested.
• Subscribe before June 1.
• Following subscription, you will receive an e-mail with practical information and a booking link to plan an online intake meeting with the Flemish Economic Representative in Beijing and/or Shanghai.
• Attention: only following this intake meeting can we confirm your participation.
• You provide product samples to FIT-Shanghai and FIT-Beijing for tasting during the mini food fair. In order to receive your products on time, we recommend to send them before September 15. More information will be provided following approval of your participation.
• 16 and 21 October: presentation of your company and products by our colleagues in Shanghai and Beijing to Chinese buyers during the mini-food-fair. Your product will be presented in a professional way. A caterer with personnel will be present to serve and prepare your products.
• If a buyer is interested, FIT will organize an online meeting with the buyers and yourself (to be organized after the presentation and tasting).
• Contrary to previous editions, it is possible for you to be present yourself to present your products, after consulting our offices in Shanghai and Beijing (max. 1 representative per company).
More information about the program, digital catalogue, samples and branding materials will be provided following approval of your participation.
Via Access2Markets you can check which tariffs and taxes will be applicable to your products. Please check whether your products are subject to import restrictions on the Chinese market before you contact the local office. Due to logistics we advise not to provide frozen products.
