We were delighted to welcome Mr Hans De Cuyper, CEO of Ageas and Trends Manager of the Year 2025, at our recent FCCC luncheon. During the exchange, he shared valuable perspectives on Ageas’ long-term strategy in China, the importance of strong local partnerships, and the value of long-term commitment in the market.
Opening the luncheon, Mr Philippe Latour, Chairman of FCCC, recalled that Ageas is one of the Chamber’s founding members, alongside several prominent BEL 20 companies active in China. Ageas has been active in China for 25 years and, together with its joint venture partner Taiping, has built a strong model for sustainable growth in China. As Mr De Cuyper said: “In China, with China, for China.”
