The “Linking China and Belgium: The 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) Roadshow – Antwerp” took place on May 15 in Antwerp.
Mrs. Gwenn Sonck, Executive Director, Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce/EU-China Business Association, welcomed the participants to this in-person event. Mr. Carl Peeters, Board Member, Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce, CFO & General Manager, Ahlers Belgium, delivered the introduction.
His Excellency Mr. PENG Gang, Minister of the Chinese Mission to the EU on EU-China trade relations, delivered the keynote address, focussing on six key supply chains: advanced manufacturing, clean energy, smart vehicle, digital technology, healthy life and green agriculture together with supply chain services. Mr. ZHAO Feng, Deputy Chief Representative, CCPIT EU, Belgium, gave an introduction to the 2nd CISCE and Mr. Liu Guojin, East Asia Business Manager, Port of Antwerp-Bruges, provided an insight in interesting experiences.
A Q&A session and lunch concluded the event.
