The EU-China Business Association organized an exclusive luncheon with His Excellency Mr. Suo Peng, the newly appointed Minister for Trade and Economy at the Chinese Mission to the EU on 9 October 2025 at De Warande in Brussels. Ambassador Cai Run, who was originally scheduled to give the address, was not able to attend. He deeply regrets missing our event and looks forward to the opportunity to join us next time. Minister Suo Peng represented the Ambassador.
This exclusive event was a unique opportunity to meet the Minister in charge of Economy and Trade at the Chinese Mission to the EU and to raise topics for discussion.
Following a networking cocktail, Mr. Jochum Haakma, Chairman, EU-China Business Association, introduced the event. H.E. Mr. Suo Peng, Minister for Trade and Economy, Chinese Mission to the EU, gave an address on the Outlook for EU-China Trade and Investment Relations.
