About the speaker:
Koert Van Espen is Managing Partner of Apogado, an independent consultancy guiding organisations toward compliance in cybersecurity, privacy, and AI, combining both legal and technical expertise. Koert holds MSc in Engineering and MBA degrees, he graduated as one of the first security experts from the University of Leuven (Faculty of Engineering Science). For over 30 years he has been involved in and fascinated by new possibilities of digitalisation and its consequences on information security and privacy. Koert held various functions ranging from research to management and strategic or technical consulting, and was cabinet member for the state secretary for privacy.
