Webinar | China: Sourcing, OEM and Operations: A Practical Legal Risk Checklist for Belgian Companies |  20 August 2026 | 10:00–11:00 CEST

During this webinar, Mr Winston Jin, Lawyer and Partner at Fangben Law Office, a structural partner of the Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce, will present a legal risk checklist for Belgian companies involved in sourcing, OEM production and business operations in China. Mr Mark D’Haese, CEO of Culobel Group, will subsequently share his company’s practical experiences of doing business in China.

China remains an important market, manufacturing base and sourcing hub for Belgian and European companies. Its highly developed supply chains, extensive manufacturing capabilities and rapidly evolving business environment continue to offer significant opportunities.

At the same time, companies sourcing from China, working with original equipment manufacturers, or operating locally must navigate a range of legal and commercial risks. Clear contractual arrangements, appropriate due diligence and the protection of intellectual property are essential to avoiding disputes and safeguarding business interests.

This session will provide Belgian companies with valuable guidance on managing the legal and commercial risks associated with sourcing, OEM production and business operations in China.
