The Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce (FCCC) and the Chamber of Commerce of East Flanders organized a seminar on doing business with China, risks and solutions on October 26 at Voka Oost-Vlaanderen in Gent. Every entrepreneur wants to be active on the Chinese market: as a sales market and for sourcing, China is one of the world’s most important markets.

The seminar analyzed the obstacles you – as a Flemish entrepreneur – may expect when doing business with China, and how to overcome them in the most efficient and cost-effective way. The keynote speaker was Mr Wilson Jin, one of the most respected lawyers in China, whose clients include Philips, Otis, Fuji and Rio Tinto.  Mr Andre Saelens, CEO, Profitting Europe and Mr Luc VandenBosch, spoke about their practical experiences about doing business with China and Mr Jurgen Egger of Laga, delivered a speech on contracting in China.

The seminar was followed with a networking drink. More information can be obtained at the FCCC.
