The Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce (FCCC) has the pleasure of inviting you to a seminar on “How to succeed in BRIC countries”. The seminar will take place at 3.30 p.m. on 6 May 2010 in the Diamant Building, Bld A. Reyers 80, 1030 Brussels.

Expert economists expect the major emerging markets like the BRIC countries - Brazil, Russia, India and China - to experience superior economic growth to the developed markets in North America, Europe and Japan. Indeed, by 2050, the economies of these four countries, taken together, look set to overtake what are currently the world’s richest economies. Between them, they will account for over 40% of the world's population (2.63 billion people) and surpass the combined GDP of today’s G6 countries by 60%.

The BRIC countries have been the first to recover from the global economic crisis and will continue to occupy centre stage. Since a thorough understanding of the conditions in these countries is a prerequisite for a successful entry to their domestic markets , at the seminar companies that are already active in these four countries will offer you some valuable insights based on their experiences.

The programme is as follows :
