The Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure to invite you to the seminar  “China! Logistically demystified!” which took place at Antwerp Expo during the Trade Fair “Transport & Logistics”.

This seminar was organized by the Belgian-Shippers Council O.T.M. in cooperation with the Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce and Transport & Logistics.

Mr Luc Maton, Director Ahlers and Member of the Board of Directors of  the FCCC, gave an interesting presentation about the economic development of China in relation with  the present and future development of its logistic infrastructure.
His speech was followed by Mr Steve Huang, Managing Director of DHL Global Forwarding, who gave his views on China’s macro economy linked to international, domestic logistics and customs.

Mr Noël Colpin, Administrator Customs and Excise of the Belgian Ministry of Finance, introduced the participants to the new European customs procedures and the role of Belgian customs in this.

After these presentations, the participants could assist 3 different sessions about some specific aspects on China logistics such as finance, cargo insurances, packaging, software implementation, warehousing and global supply chains.
About 90 businessmen, mainly from logistic companies, attended this event.
